What's New For The 2019 Subaru Crosstrek?
Subaru has made some subtle improvements to the 2019 Crosstrek, which is still considered a crossover SUV on a compact platform. Under the hood, the BOXER engine is once again paired with the Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and the Lineartronic CVT. More than ten accident-avoidance features are available in the 2019 Crosstrek, including some that are part of the EyeSight Driver Assist suite. NFC, Android Auto, and 4G LTE WiFi make this Subaru quite popular among smartphone users.

2019 Crosstrek Trims & Features
An 8.0-inch touch screen with the STARLINK Multimedia Plus software is installed in the Limited. In addition to having access to colored maps, you'll enjoy other online applications, such as Yelp. From Aha and Pandora to HD Radio and SiriusXM Satellite Radio, you won't run out of entertainment channels in this Subaru crossover SUV. NFC, Bluetooth, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay highlight the car's class-leading status when it comes to connectivity. Additionally, 4G LTE WiFi is standard in the 2.0i Premium and 2.0i Limited models.
2019 Subaru Crosstrek Horsepower
Capable of kicking out 152 horsepower, the 2.0 L BOXER engine is standard in the 2019 Crosstrek. A horizontally opposed design distinguishes this legendary powertrain from conventional engines with inline cylinders. When it revolves at 4,000 RPM, the BOXER unit cranks out 145 pound-feet of torque. Direct injection works in sync with the Dual Active Valve Control System in this four-cylinder engine. A manual transmission system with six gears is standard in the 2.0i and 2.0i Premium. Using the latest Lineartronic technology, a continuously variable transmission system drives the 2.0i Limited edition. Seven manual-style settings are included in this CVT, which also has Adaptive Control technology. When you need an upward push on a hill, the Incline Start Assist will come on. The Hill Descent Control helps you maintain control of the speedometer on a steep downward gradient. As a versatile crossover SUV, the 2019 Crosstrek is ready to tow a maximum load of 1,500 pounds. Whether you're driving on a paved road or rocky trail, the Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive guarantees good traction for your trips. The X-MODE keeps the front and rear axles spinning at the appropriate rates based on the need for traction. Standard in the Crosstrek, the Active Torque Vectoring applies the correct braking pressure to improve handling on curved paths.
Subaru Crosstrek Safety
By monitoring other vehicles that are ahead, Pre-Collision Braking minimizes the potential for a sudden crash. The Adaptive Cruise Control also has sensors that keep track of traffic flow in front of you. If necessary, the cruise control system will increase the following distance based on the threat level of an accident. The Lane Keep Assist and Lane Departure Warning are included in the EyeSight Driver Assist package. This Subaru crossover SUV has other accident-avoidance technology, like the reverse automatic braking. The brakes will be automatically engaged if another obstacle moves into your intended path while backing up. The Rear Cross-Traffic Alert also keeps an eye out for vehicles that suddenly cross into your path while backing up. A rear vision camera sends live video feeds to the STARLINK infotainment system. When it detects oncoming traffic, the High Beam Assist switches the headlights from a high to a low setting. Daytime running lights (DRLs) are standard.
