Fireworks are about to light up the Valley sky this coming 4th of July. Check out one of these sparkling Independence Day festivities and celebrate the land of the free!
Fabulous Phoenix 4th
Every year at Steele Indian School Park, a “Fabulous” 4th of July festival is held and the tradition continues this year. Free to attend and fun for all ages, Fabulous Phoenix 4th offers fun rides, inflatables, a splash zone, Kids’ World and several exhibits. The event culminates with a huge fireworks presentation around 9:30 p.m.
After Dark in the Park
If you live further north, there’s another Independence Day event in Phoenix at Deer Valley Park. Also free to attend, After Dark in the Park includes music, air jumps, food vendors and a fireworks show at 8:45 p.m. This patriotic event takes place before the bigger July 4th celebrations, occurring this year on Saturday, June 25.
Light Up the Sky
Yet another free patriotic affair taking place prior to Fab Phoenix 4th is Light up the Sky, which is held at Maryvale Baseball Park on Friday, July 1. There will be food and beverages on sale at the event, and inflatables will be located just outside of the stadium. The event’s main draw is a fantastic fireworks show that takes place at approximately 9:10 p.m.
