What's New for the 2026 Subaru Solterra?
The Solterra is Subaru's first all-electric vehicle. For 2026, the Solterra gets some noteworthy upgrades that make it more enticing and pleasant to drive. Inside and out, the Solterra now offers more to enjoy, and it returns to the market with improved range this model year, too.
Along with new electric motors, the Solterra is also now equipped with an NACS charging port. Notable interior upgrades include a larger touchscreen and wireless phone chargers. The cabin also has a bit more room this year.
What Are the 2026 Solterra Trims & Features?
The Solterra is available in four trim levels.
Starting off the lineup is the Premium. Like all models, the 2026 Premium features a more spacious interior in 2026. It has a convenient keyless entry system and remote start. The cabin also includes dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, cloth upholstery, and a leather steering wheel. You'll get the new and improved 14-inch touchscreen with this trim, along with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. On the outside, the Premium has LED headlights, roof rails, and 18-inch wheels finished in alloy.
Next, the Limited adds a power liftgate, 20-inch wheels, and power-folding side mirrors. The seating material is upgraded to synthetic leather, and starting with this trim you'll get power-adjustable front seats. The Limited also has a heated steering wheel, and the heated seats extend to the back row as well. The sound system for this trim is a Harman Kardon stereo with 11 speakers.
The Touring follows with a few more notable upgrades. The Touring features interior ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, and a standard panoramic sunroof. You'll also get a digital rearview mirror with the Touring that enhances visibility out the back.
The Touring Onyx Edition tops the line with black 20-inch wheels and other black accents including black trim badges and a roof spoiler. The interior also features a black-out color scheme.
How Much Horsepower Does the 2026 Solterra Have?
The 2026 Solterra is equipped with a 74.7-kWh battery pack. This battery also has a faster preconditioning system that allows the car to charge faster. The 2026 Solterra has more powerful electric motors as well that drive its maximum horsepower up to 233.
