2019 Subaru Ascent

The new 2018 Subaru Ascent is considered to be groundbreaking for the Japanese car manufacturer because it's the first three-row SUV to be released by the company. Its exterior resembles the Outback and Forester as the largest car model that the auto company has ever released.

The car model is built with an eight-inch screen on the dashboard where drivers can adjust the settings, make phone calls, and navigate busy roads while on the go. Drivers can also pay for the Ascent's Starlink Connected Services as an add-on feature that provides SOS emergency assistance and automatic collision notification. Teenagers can also benefit while driving the 2019 model with customizable alerts that are related to their curfew, speed, and passing certain boundaries in the local area.

Three different trims are also offered with the Subaru Ascent with Premium, Limited, and Touring. Each trim seats eight people and includes 19 cup holders that can even fit bottles. The vehicle also holds up to 72.6 cu.-ft. of cargo and offers an ample amount of head and legroom. Extra storage space can also be utilized by strapping luggage or sporting equipment to the raised rails on top of the roof, which is ideal when taking road trips or extended drives.

The tinted glass on the vehicle will offer plenty of privacy and will also keep the interior setting cool during the warmer months of the year. Drivers can also enjoy a power seat, 4G LTE Wi-Fi connection, a blind spot monitoring system, lane change assist, and rear cross-traffic alert to stay safe and avoid an accident. Once the temperatures drop, the Ascent offers a warm and comfortable ride in the cabin by providing heated front seats. You'll have improved visibility on the road with features that include heated side mirrors and a wiper de-icing system. LED fog lights, automatic high-beam operation, and LED steering responsive headlights also improve your view of the road.

The cabin offers a comfortable ride with ventilated front seats, matte woodgrain interior trim, a 120-volt power outlet, and an ample amount of USB ports when you need to charge your phone or tablet. A panoramic sunroof makes it easy to enjoy the view overhead, whether it's a sunny day or you want to stargaze at night. A camera-based Front View Monitor and Smart Rear-View Mirror systems also make it easier to stay safe on the road and avoid having any blind spots when changing lanes or backing out of a parking space.

Although the Ascent is larger than other Subaru models, the amount of power that is offered isn't compromised with the 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that is included. The car model can tow up to 5,000 pounds and comes standard with Trailer Stability Assist. The all-wheel drive is powered by a variable transmission and includes paddle shifters. The fuel efficiency is also competitive among similar SUVs in the industry and can get 500 miles with each tank of gas. The car can even reach 260 horsepower and torque that has between 2,000 rpm and 4,800 rpm.

Getting into the vehicle is easy when you're in a rush with the keyless access feature that allows you to start the engine by pushing a button. Second-row captains chairs are ideal for families who want to keep their children from fighting and have plenty of space for passengers. The leather seating that is available even prevents it from feeling like a family car with a touch of luxury that is sleek and comfortable.
