Keep in mind that you can step up to a more potent 2.5-liter, Boxer four-cylinder engine. It elevates performance by pumping out 182 horsepower. For 2025, this more muscular engine is now standard on most Crosstrek trim levels.
Like the 2025 model, the 2024 model receives Subaru’s full-time Symmetrical AWD system as standard equipment. This means you can experience excellent traction on both paved road surfaces and off-road trails. An available X-MODE button further enhances the Crosstrek’s ability to tackle challenging terrain.
Appearance
When comparing the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek and the 2025 Subaru Crosstrek, don’t expect to notice any differences in the styling department. These two models look identical. Steering Responsive LED Headlights come standard, thus optimizing visibility at night. While the lower trim levels feature a modern set of 17-inch alloy wheels, larger 18-inch alloy wheels give the higher trim levels an even more athletic stance.
Many of the same eye-catching exterior color options are available as well. However, Subaru replaces the 2024 model’s available Horizon Blue hue with Daybreak Blue.
