This Saturday and Sunday, March 29-30, is the final weekend of the Arizona Renaissance Festival. It's your last chance to take a step back in time and enjoy 15th century fare, entertainment and art. Go dressed in your favorite Medieval garb or go as you are - just make sure you visit before the end of the month. It's a can't-miss experience that won't come back around until next year.
The Arizona Renaissance Festival features events like a high-action jousting competition, 30-acre circus and theater performances, as well as a village marketplace where you can purchase unique items inspired by the Middle Ages (e.g., jewelry, blown glass, masks, leather goods). There's also entertainment at every corner with over 500 performers who walk around in character and interact with guests. If you want a hearty meal, food is another big attraction and you won't want to miss out on tasting delicious dishes from the new Pleasure Feast menu. A great selection of beer is also available at vendors throughout the festival.
Visit 12601 East Highway 60 in Gold Canyon, AZ this weekend to enjoy music, food, comedy, dancing and other activities. Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Parking is free and entry is only $20 for adults, $10 for children 5-12 years old and free for children under 5. Additionally, festival goers can sign up for a chance to win a trip to London, England from 99.9 KEZ, so make sure you inquire at the door when you attend.
