It may still be a year and a half away, but the new movie "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" is already gaining tremendous buzz, and leaked images of the new Batmobile are part of the reason for the excitement. The Bat's ride has seen dramatic changes over the decades and soon enough yet another version will hit the silver screen.
The Batmobile has transformed from a turbine-equipped roadster to a jet-powered drag car, which was later followed by the Tumbler featured in recent Batman movies. Now, the new edition is breaking away from past designs and moving toward a more military-grade, angular look. There are multiple flat panels, vents and weaponry protruding from several areas.

Director Zack Synder, maker of "300" and "Watchmen," leaked the photo above on Twitter recently, after posting the photos below a few months ago. Needless to say, the new image gives us a much clearer picture of what to expect from the new Batmobile! However, one of the originally posted photos did offer a glimpse of Ben Affleck's new Batsuit, which is also pretty cool. In addition, Autoblog released exclusive photos of the Batmobile on set in Detroit (pictured right).
We can't wait to see the Dark Knight fight off villains with his new gear when "Dawn of Justice" makes its way to theaters in 2016!
