Subaru has partnered with the National Wildlife Federation to launch a new program called Butterfly Heroes. If you make a pledge to help save monarch butterflies, as well as other important pollinators that contribute to food creation, you'll receive a special Butterfly Heroes Garden Starter packet. The NWF is giving out over 50,000 packets and Subaru is matching this contribution by offering another 50,000 kits.

In addition, if you sign up before June 1 you'll be entered for a chance to win a trip for four to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida! Pledging is quick, easy and free, so don't wait to show your support. All you have to do to pledge is click here to visit NWF and submit a photo of yourself making the sign language symbol for butterfly. You'll then be mailed a starter packet (while supplies last) and be entered for the Disney vacation giveaway.

The monarch butterfly population has declined significantly over the last two decades, largely due to cropland conversion and agricultural practices. By growing native milkweed, which provides the food, water and shelter that monarchs need to raise their young, you'll join a network of others who are creating sustainable habitats for monarchs.

Subaru's joint venture with the NWF is part of the brand's Subaru Loves the Earth initiative. Subaru is always searching for ways to help support and raise awareness for issues that impact wildlife and the environment.

If you want to join the company's mission and create a garden environment that'll attract beautiful monarch butterflies, make your pledge today and become a Butterfly Hero!
