The fifth-generation 2017 Subaru Impreza is hot off the press with a new design, new structure, revised suspension and updated technologies!

The all-new Subaru Impreza is once again offered in sedan and hatchback body styles, both of which offer a sleek and dramatic new look that Phoenix car shoppers will love. Large wheel arches and aerodynamic lines provide a sporty feel, while Subaru’s signature hexagonal grille and alluring hawk-eye headlight designs give the front fascia an aggressive note. The rear fascia has also been fully overhauled, receiving new rectangular taillight styling and an updated spoiler design, among other changes.

In addition, the new Impreza is larger in size, resulting in improved cabin space. Both the sedan and hatchback are longer and wider overall.

The 2017 Impreza rides on a new Subaru Global Platform that increases structural rigidity by 70 percent, which helps improve handling, ride comfort and safety. The new structure helps reduce vibration and noise, while also enhancing agility and straight-line stability. Plus, a revised suspension and lower center of gravity contribute to optimized performance.

The 2.0-liter four-cylinder Boxer engine has been revised, adding direct injection and other enhancements that boost efficiency and horsepower. The optional Lineartronic continuously variable transmission (CVT) adds a new seven-speed manual mode function with paddle shifters.

Impreza’s new platform improves crash energy absorption by 40 percent compared to previous models, plus the car is available with some of the most affordable safety technologies on the market. EyeSight and STARLINK offer a wide range of systems, including SOS Emergency Assistance, Automatic Collision Notification, Stolen Vehicle Recovery Service, Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Pre-Collision Braking and much more.

Notable on the infotainment end is the addition of standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as standard Near Field Communication connectivity!

The 2017 Impreza offers base, Premium, Sport and Limited trim levels. New 2.0i Sport trims, now offered on the sedan as well as the five-door, come with 18-inch wheels, a sport suspension, Active Torque Vectoring, a black-finish front grille, integrated turn signals in the side mirrors, and other exclusive exterior styling elements.
