Subaru was awarded the highest "overall Dealer" award as it applies to the calendar year. This was the 27th annual Automotive Loyalty Awards for S&P Global Mobility. The Subaru Outback also won for the highest Model Loyalty in the Mid-Size Utility option.
Subaru responded to this news through the CEO, Thomas Doll. He said that retaining trust in Subaru, in general, is a bit part of what Subaru tries to do. They focus on being dedicated to the customers of Subaru and also the retailers that serve them. He thanked S&P for the award and the recognition of Subaru's focus on customer service and customer loyalty.
They measured loyalty by looking at when a household has a new vehicle and then goes back to purchase or lease another vehicle that is by the same automaker. So, the awards come from this analysis of these households for a year. The S&P company also does its best to facilitate this loyalty throughout the year. In other words, S and P have a significant role in helping to support the belief that Subaru generates. They are partners in that regard.
Subaru is one of the more reliable automakers around, and this is a lot of the reason why it tends to win awards like these. People are loyal to Subaru because their products last a long time compared to many similar vehicles. It takes longer for the parts from the vehicle to break down as well. This kind of performance brings people back to the table for Subaru over and over again from families. They know their money will go a long way from a brand with this strong reputation.
