Which Trims and Features Come With the 2019 Impreza?

The 2019 Impreza comes with multiple trim levels with their own special features to set them apart from other models. The Impreza comes in four different trim levels: the 2.0i, the Premium, Sport and Limited Edition models.

The 2.0i is the most basic trim and contains all of the standard features such as an all-wheel drive, 16-inch wheels, speed-sensitive steering and a rear spoiler. The 2.0i Premium has more features available such as a 7-speed transmission, panic alarm system, 16-inch alloy wheels and a new black grille with chrome surroundings.

The 2.0i Sport model continues with its upgrade additions by boasting a full time all-wheel drive, 18-inch alloy wheels, an optional wheel lock system and a new power-tilting sunroof. The 2.0i Limited model is the most advanced one of the group and includes features like 17-inch alloy wheels, an optional Harman Kardon amplifier for entertainment, a voice-activated navigation system, power rear windows, and auto-beam headlights with high beam assisting features.

As a newer vehicle, the engine has seen its share of upgrades, starting with the ability of the base model to maintain a 152 horsepower rating while driving up to 6,000 wheel rotations per minute and also generating 145 pounds per pounds-feet of torque.

The Impreza has a continuously variable automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive with flat 4 cylinders boosting the engine. Fuel-wise, the car gets a rather impressive fuel economy for a sedan, getting 31 combined miles per gallon, and 28 MPG in the city and 36 MPG on the highway.

How has Subaru Improved Safety for 2019?

No expenses were spared when it comes to car safety here, and backseat passengers are taken care just as well, with the inclusion of rear door safety locks and seat anchors. Traction and stability have all been improved over the last year, with a new 4-wheel ABS system and a rear center three-point belt.

A post-collision safety system is included for keeping a status update of the vehicle after an accident, should one occur, as well as an engine immobilizer. Emergency braking assist is included for backup in the event of a brake failure, and ventilated front and rear disc brakes are there to support this and keep the brakes fresh. Also included is a tire pressure monitoring system to alert drivers of low air pressure or wheel damage.
