What's New for the 2021 Subaru Impreza?

The Subaru Impreza is an impressive compact car with market-leading interior space and standard all-wheel drive. The big changes for the 2021 Subaru Impreza include the Premium trim getting an engine performance management system called SI-Drive, and the Sport hatchback gaining Crystal Black Silica end pieces on the rear spoiler. The Impreza is impressive for its ground clearance, sufficient to help you get through just about any trail or tackle challenging terrain. The Impreza is also equipped with Subaru's award-winning EyeSight safety package, which is standard on most trims and helps reduce the chance of a collision occurring.

What Are the Impreza Trims & Features?

Four trim levels in sedan and four trim levels in the 5-door hatchback are available for the Subaru Impreza in 2021. The first trim is the base model. With this trim, you'll get a comprehensive list of amenities, including comfortable seats for five, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, and Subaru's Starlink Multimedia system. The base Subaru Impreza also has a backup camera, and it gets vehicle dynamics control for added stability on the road.

The next trim in the lineup is the Premium. The Premium builds on the base trim's list of features with a Starlink Safety and Security system. This trim comes standard with an all-weather package that adds heated front seats for comfortable driving in cold weather. A 4G Wi-Fi hotspot is standard on this trim as well. The Premium adds a 6.5-inch Multimedia Plus infotainment system, and you can order a power moonroof as a standalone option.

The third trim is the Sport. This trim gets a sportier exterior with 18-inch alloy wheels. Keyless entry is standard, and the Sport comes with push-button start. The steering wheel is finished in leather, and the exterior gets a trunk spoiler. The Limited, which is the top-level Impreza, has LED steering-responsive front lights, leather-trimmed seats and automatic climate control. The Limited can also add navigation to its multimedia system as an option.
