If you or anyone you know has a child with physical disabilities, this story will tug at your heart and bring you newfound hope. When children do not have full use of their legs, it is hard for their parents to watch as they try to keep up with friends and classmates, and it is even harder to watch your kids stand by because they do not have the ability to play. Now, however, there is a new, fun and life-changing option for families in this situation.

While there are electric wheelchairs for kids, there are no suitable options for very young children ages three and under, which can make it very difficult for them to develop certain physical and social skills. Dr. Cole Galloway and his team at Go Baby Go! have come up with a solution that has changed this for numerous families across the country and their vision has even captured the attention of families worldwide who are dealing with the same issue.

When Galloway first began researching how children learn to move their bodies, he stumbled upon a way to modify toy cars using parts that could be acquired from the local hardware store. With only minor modifications, he and his team could create a unique and kid-friendly mode of transportation that offered the same level of mobility as powered wheelchairs.

Today, Go Baby Go! provides free instructional booklets, YouTube videos and classes to teach parents how to create their own "custom cars." They've also discovered that the cars ignite a sense of freedom and confidence, while helping children develop physical skills which, for some, could enable them to walk one day.
