2021 Subaru Crosstrek

What's New for the 2021 Subaru Crosstrek?

For the 2021 model year, the Subaru Crosstrek has some new and exciting updates. Subaru introduces a new trim, the Sport, for those who want a performance-oriented variant. Also, the 2.5-liter engine utilized in models like the Legacy and Outback is now under the hood of the Crosstrek Sport and Limited trims. In addition, the EyeSight safety package gains advanced adaptive cruise control with lane centering.

2021 Crosstrek Trims & Features

The Sport joins three other trims: the base, Premium, and the Limited, and all offer seating for up to five passengers. The Crosstrek comes with 60/40-split rear seatbacks, automatic climate control, and electronic cruise control. The Premium, Sport, and Limited are upgraded with front-seat heating and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

The STARLINK multimedia system combines the Crosstrek's infotainment components, such as a four-speaker AM/FM stereo system, Bluetooth hands-free phone calling and audio streaming, smartphone integration via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a USB port and an audio jack for connecting mobile devices to play media, and a 6.5-inch touchscreen. To get two additional speakers, a single-disc CD player, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, and a trial subscription to SiriusXM Radio, go with the Premium trim level. Exclusive to the Limited are HD Radio technology, keyless entry with push-button engine start, and an 8-inch multi-touch-gesture screen in place of the 6.5-inch display.

The all-new Subaru Crosstrek Sport gets many of these features, plus special additions like water-repellent StarTex upholstery with yellow contrast stitching, a more aggressive grille and wheel arch moldings, gunmetal finish exterior accents, dark gray wheels, and the option of a Plasma Yellow Pearl paint color.
