What's New for the 2025 Subaru Crosstrek?

For the 2025 model year, more trims now come standard with the Crosstrek's uprated engine.

What Are the 2025 Crosstrek Trims & Features?

Subaru offers the new Crosstrek in five trim levels: Base, Premium, Sport, Limited, and Wilderness. The base model comes loaded with many of today's most popular features. Highlights include Subaru's Starlink Multimedia interface with dual 7.0-inch displays, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a front USB-A input port.

The Premium trim brings key upgrades. Technology lovers will enjoy its larger 11.6-inch HD touchscreen with wireless smartphone integration. A Wi-Fi hotspot, an upgraded audio system, and Keyless Access with Push-Button Start are also found on the Premium trim.

Flaunting larger 18-inch alloy wheels and yellow exterior accents, the Crosstrek Sport has an especially bold look. On the inside, you'll find a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a wireless phone charger. Yet another highlight is this trim's standard All-Weather package, which includes heated front seats.

The Crosstrek Limited is geared towards drivers who seek even more luxury. Some of its upgrades include perforated leather seating surfaces, a 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat with lumbar support, and premium interior lighting.

For folks who need enhanced off-road capabilities, Subaru offers the Crosstrek Wilderness. Rugged upgrades, such as a raised suspension and all-terrain tires, help prepare you to tackle the tough backcountry. Water-resistant upholstery comes standard as well.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2025 Crosstrek Have?

The base model comes equipped with a 2.0-liter, Boxer four-cylinder engine. It's tuned to develop a competitive 152 horsepower. All other trims feature a larger 2.5-liter, Boxer four-cylinder engine with 182 horsepower. A continuously variable transmission sends power to the wheels. Every new Crosstrek benefits from Subaru's full-time Symmetrical AWD system, which enables you to confidently approach a wide range of different road conditions. An adventurous X-MODE feature also helps ensure maximum grip on slippery surfaces. While most trims are rated to tow up to 1,500 pounds, heavy-duty upgrades increase the Wilderness trim's towing capacity to 3,500 pounds.

What Safety Features Does the 2025 Crosstrek Include?

The Crosstrek comes standard with several EyeSight driver-assistance technologies. While Pre-Collision Braking can automatically bring you to a halt during emergencies, Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering makes traveling on the highway less stressful.
