Over 50 percent of Americans have pets and one in five say they have traveled with a pet on their lap. A recent test comparing pedestrian detection systems once again proves Subaru’s prowess in the area of safety technology. As smart as many of today’s new driver-assist features are, it’s a bit startling to think that many of the vehicles in this test straight up failed when their pedestrian detection systems were put to the test. In fact, all but the Subaru Outback were unsuccessful when it came to stopping in time.
