Over 50 percent of Americans have pets and one in five say they have traveled with a pet on their lap. To promote the safety of our beloved furry friends, Subaru is funding crash tests conducted by the Center for Pet Safety (CPS), which will include results regarding best practices for safely securing pets in cars and crate size guidelines.

Depending on the vehicle you’re working with, installing child-safety seats isn’t always easy. In fact, some vehicle models don’t make it very easy at all. That’s not the case with the 2015 Subaru Forester, however. Unlike some vehicles that don’t leave enough space for child seats and force front passengers to push their seating positions forward, the Forester offers copious space, a convenient latch system and other bonuses for parents.

A recent test comparing pedestrian detection systems once again proves Subaru’s prowess in the area of safety technology. As smart as many of today’s new driver-assist features are, it’s a bit startling to think that many of the vehicles in this test straight up failed when their pedestrian detection systems were put to the test. In fact, all but the Subaru Outback were unsuccessful when it came to stopping in time.

The Camelback Subaru team recently presented a check for $5,224 to Crisis Nursery, the Valley’s longest running children’s shelter. This donation was earned through Subaru's annual Share the Love event, where shoppers just like yourself got to designate a $250 donation to one of six charities after leasing or purchasing a new Subaru at our dealership.
