  Subaru is well-known for producing adventurous vehicles that appeal to outdoor lovers. Recently unveiled at the 2025 New York International Auto Show, the new 2026 Subaru Trailseeker has triggered a great deal of excitement. Here’s a look at what we know about this all-electric SUV.

The 2025 Subaru Trailseeker allows you to go all-electric without making any compromises. It comes properly equipped to explore the rough backcountry. Not only does the Trailseeker benefit from the grip of Subaru’s legendary Symmetrical AWD system, but it also boasts 8.3 inches of ground clearance. Other off-road features include Downhill Assist Control, dual-function X-Mode, and a unique suspension.
Whether you’re running errands or out on the trails, this SUV promises to deliver the necessary performance. Its all-electric powertrain is rated to generate a splendid 375 horsepower. Subaru estimates a rapid 0-60 mph time of 4.4 seconds. Aside from offering quick acceleration and excellent climbing power, the new Trailseeker can also tow up to 3,500 pounds. Yet another great attribute is the vehicle’s impressive driving range.
Advanced Styling
The Trailseeker definitely has a striking appearance. Rugged fender flares and pronounced roof rails make the SUV look ready for a serious adventure. Signature exterior lighting further bolsters the Trailseeker’s modern styling. While 18-inch alloy wheels come standard, available 20-inch alloy wheels bring an even more formidable stance. A panoramic glass roof with motorized shade is offered as well. Just a few of the exterior color options include Sapphire Blue Pearl, Brilliant Bronze Metallic, and Magnetite Gray Metallic.
Spacious, Feature-Packed Interior
On the inside, the new Trailseeker impresses with its ample passenger room and usable cargo space. Several great tech features come standard, including a 14-inch Subaru Multimedia touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone connectivity. Some of the available upgrades consist of ventilated front seats, a beautiful-sounding Harman Kardon premium audio system, and a Panoramic View Monitor.
