What's New for the 2023 Subaru Crosstrek?
This year, buyers have the opportunity to bring home the new Subaru Crosstrek Special Edition. It comes exclusively in Desert Khaki paint, and it has dark gray exterior accents to show off. Inside, the Crosstrek Special Edition stands out with black and red upholstery.
2022 Crosstrek Trims & Features
There are now five versions of the Crosstrek for drivers to choose from. The base model comes with roof rails, automatic climate control, a 6.5-inch touchscreen, and other desirable features. Stepping up to the Premium trim level means getting a satellite radio, a rear cargo cover, heated front seats, and much more. The new Special Edition has similar equipment to the Premium, just with a unique style.
The Sport version of the 2023 Crosstrek has a power-adjustable driver's seat. It also adds paddle shifters and fun yellow accent stitching for a more athletic feel. Choosing the Limited trim level will mean getting sophisticated upgrades, including adaptive LED headlights, leather upholstery, and a sunroof.
2022 Subaru Crosstrek Horsepower
The powertrain for the 2023 Crosstrek depends on the trim level selected. For the base and Premium models, Subaru goes with a 2.0L four-cylinder that creates 152 horsepower along with 145 lb-ft of torque. Both the Sport and the Limited trim levels are equipped with a 2.5L four-cylinder that generates 182 horsepower and 176 lb-ft of torque.
A six-speed manual transmission is available for both the base and Premium versions of the Crosstrek. These models can also be equipped with a CVT, which is what comes standard for the Sport and Limited trims. Naturally, all-wheel drive is standard across the board.
Subaru Crosstrek Safety
Every 2023 Crosstrek with a CVT comes with the EyeSight suite of safety features. It includes adaptive cruise control, a lane-keeping system, and forward collision mitigation to help everyone stay safer on the road. Starting with the Premium, CVT models add blind-spot monitoring as well. The Crosstrek Limited is home to automatic rear braking.
