Subaru and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Spread Hopes to Cancer Patients

Leukemia and lymphoma are two deadly cancers that affect many thousands of people in the United States every year. People that have been affected by these diseases are facing a literal fight for their lives, a fight that is both exhausting and damaging to both their physical and emotional health. Subaru and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society have partnered together to help those who are afflicted with these deadly diseases.

After being approved earlier this year in March, the controversial Loop 202 extension project has been started. The first home in the path of the freeway was demolished on Aug. 27, 2015, and more homes have been taken down since to make room for the new freeway project. Actual construction of the freeway itself, which is considered a “relief route” by some and environmental threat by others, is scheduled to commence in summer 2016.
