That’s not the case with the 2015 Subaru Forester, however. Unlike some vehicles that don’t leave enough space for child seats and force front passengers to push their seating positions forward, the Forester offers copious space, a convenient latch system and other bonuses for parents.

A recent test comparing pedestrian detection systems once again proves Subaru’s prowess in the area of safety technology. As smart as many of today’s new driver-assist features are, it’s a bit startling to think that many of the vehicles in this test straight up failed when their pedestrian detection systems were put to the test. In fact, all but the Subaru Outback were unsuccessful when it came to stopping in time.
